Valencia, set in the midst of orange groves is famed for its large fruit and vegetable market. The city is also a popular tourist resort with beaches a short distance from the city center. Other attractions in Spain's 3rd largest city include Santiago Calatrava's the City of Arts and Science Park, Valencia's cathedral and the Fallas, a major festival held annually in March.
