Located in the center of the East-European plain, Moscow is the capital of Russia the world's largest country. The Moscow Kremlin is the heart of the Russia capital with the adjacent Red Square and multicoloured domes of St Basil's Cathedral. It is a great building of Ural marble and glass and for nearly eight centuries has been the seat of power for the grand princes, tsars and presidents. Within the Kremlin you can also find Assumption, Annunciation and Archangel Michael Cathedrals, the Church of the Laying of the Virgin's Robe and the Patriarchal Palace that have all been turned into public museums.
