Book Key West Hotels

Key West is the most famous of all the Keys. A good way to get an overview of what's on offer during your visit is to take the Conch Tour Train. A reccommended tour is to Fort Jefferson at Dry Tortugas National Park. The Dry Tortugas are a chain of seven coral reef islands. The Fort was built in 1846-66 to protect the Florida Straits at a time of conflict and rivalry between The United States, Spain, Mexico and other countries. It is also possible to travel via seaplane hovewever due to limitations on seaplane landings it is advised that you book early. Other key west attractions include The Ernest Hemingway House Museum, The Key West Shipwreck Historeum, Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden on Whitehead Street, The East Martello Fort, Heritage House Museum & Robert Frost Cottage, Historic Mallory Square and The Key West Cemetery.
