Historic Back Bay hotel attached to shops and restaurants
The Sheraton Boston claims to be New England's largest hotel, and provides indoor access to the Hynes Convention Center and the Prudential and Copley Place malls, all in Boston's historic Back Bay area.
The 1,215 guestrooms, with views of the Charles River, were recently renovated with new furnishings, sleigh beds, pillow-top mattresses, and velvet drapes. Each room has high-speed Internet access.
Guests have free use of a sundeck and the hotel's 18-meter swimming pool, with an overhead retractable dome that lets in the summer sunshine. A fitness area with exercise equipment is available.
