From its central location on the Vasaplan, the Nordic Sea Hotel offers a great base from which to discover Stockholm. The hotel is also directly adjacent to the express rail link to the airport, the Arlanda Express, and Central Station.
The hotel is designed with a maritime theme; the sea, coast, and shipyards have all lent inspiration to the interiors. The lobby features a giant aquarium full of tropical fish.
The Icebar at Nordic Sea Hotel, the world's first permanent ice bar, is located in the hotel. All of the interior fittings in the bar, including the glasses, are made of pure, clear ice. The interior is kept at below-zero temperatures all year round.
