Set near the river and the Maestranza bullfighting ring, the Hotel Becquer is in the heart of the commercial and historic city center. The Cathedral, the Giralda, the famous Santa Cruz quarter, and Isla Mágica are all roughly five minutes away.
Built in 1973 and renovated in 1996, the hotel occupies the former site of a mansion and retains much of its original art. The public spaces feature marble floors, dark wood, and leather furniture. A small sitting room is dedicated to the poet Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.
The guestrooms are quintessentially Spanish, with peach-colored walls, floral prints, matching woven bedspreads, and carved-wood headboards.
