Renowned for its excellent hotels, Nervi is a 'Riviera' on the edge of the city! The splendid green surroundings of the town's parks and gardens that lead gently down to the sea emphasise the beauty of the surrounding area. The heritage of this traditional village is reflected in the port with its many colourful houses and fishing boats. Sheltered by the hills, Nervi's mild climate attracts people from all over the world even during the winter months. Elegant shops blend together with fine entertainment, which concludes with an International Dance Festival, held in the park of the Grimaldi villa. From the port you can locate the famous promenade of Nervi that winds along the rocky coast for about 2 km. Its sheltered position makes it ideal for a summer stroll in the sun whilst in the winter months the crashing waves create spectacular scene. From the promenade you are able to embark on boat trips to Portofino and the Cinque Terre.
