Las Vegas is one big hotspot when it comes to it—both in terms of entertainment and the temperature. So staying in a hotel without a cool pool may really cut your enjoyment in half. At the same time, putting up in these hotels, with their amazing swimming pools will double your joy in the Sin City.
Flamingo Las Vegas: The Flamingo Las Vegas offers its residents a 15 acre tropical oasis setting compete with four pools, cabanas, huge fountains, restaurant and swim up black jack and drinks bars. A 150 feet high water slide adds to the fun while nature lovers can enjoy the ponds populated with koi and turtles. The oasis is also home to a number of flamingos and tropical birds. If the heat gets to you, then you can take refuge in a shady water cave or under a waterfall. Refreshments, drinks and music by the poolside make for a great poolside experience that you will never get enough of.
MGM Grand Las Vegas: The MGM Grand pool area is one of the biggest on the strip, with 6.6 acres being devoted to five huge pools, a river, three whirlpools, bridges, waterfalls and fountains situated amidst stylishly lush greenery. The place is perfect for a vacation with the kids since facilities for all kinds of pool sports are available. The ride on the 1000 ft long river is worth cherishing and doing again and again.
Mandalay Bay: Mandalay Bay has the distinction of bringing sea, sand and surf to the middle of the desert with The Beach at Mandalay Bay. The Mandalay Bay pool area features 4 pools and river surrounded by lush greenery. The hotel is great for a stay with your partner, but with a topless pool and the jet set crowd, it is not especially kid friendly all the time. The hotel is worth checking out for the largest wave pool in the area and the coolest pools and scenery.
The Golden Nugget: The Golden Nugget is part of Las Vegas folklore, and if you are staying here, then you can not only get the best of the gaming action, but the hotel also houses one of the best swimming pool areas on the strip. The main attraction at the Golden Nugget swimming pool is that it features a 200,000-gallon saltwater tank that houses a variety of sharks and sea fish. With an ultra high water slide, this swimming pool is one that adventure lovers will enjoy a lot.
Other hotels with great pools deserving a mention here are the Mirage Las Vegas and the Monte Carlo Hotel.
