Treat yourself to plantains and yams from one of the stalls at the open market. The clubs and bars of Brixton will give visitors the best night out in London they could have ever hoped for.

A Market for Hot Goods

Not long for London is the former venue for the stolen goods of gangsters of the past. Bermondsey Antiques Market is where crooks brought the hot goods to be sold because of a now cancelled royal license that stated whatever was purchased there did not have to be returned. Each Friday morning long before the sun rises (4 AM) small stalls are being set up where early risers along with their flashlights can search for the best bargains. With redevelopment looming on the horizon visitors should take the chance to rub elbows with cheeky fellows that seem to have jumped right out of a British gangster movie.
