Over the last decade Amsterdam's clubbing scene has grown in reputation attracting the party crowd and a host of big name DJ's. The scene revolves around the Leidseplein with the best nights to go out Thursday and Saturday. One of the biggest clubs in Amsterdam is Escape playing mainly house it has a large dance floor, light show and is located at Rembrandtsplein 15. For a mellower night try head to Singel 460 to a well-converted 17th century club. The iT is the most famous gay & lesbian nightclub in Amsterdam it's located just off the Rembrandtplein.
