Netherlands, often known as Holland, is located in northwest region of Europe. Netherlands is a monarchy with a constitutional parliamentary democracy. The population of Netherlands is about 16,500,000 in 2009. Netherlands had been famous for its painters like Rembrandt and van Gogh. The windmills of Netherlands are a major source of energy and a major tourist attraction. The Dutch Delftware pottery, tulips and wooden shoes are also popular items associated with this lovely country.
