Denmark is one of the Scandinavian countries situated in Northern Europe, having a constitutional monarchy. The capital city is Copenhagen. The entire country is quite flat, with the highest point being only about 171 metres high. The population of Denmark was more than 5.47 million in 2009. The climate of Denmark is temperate, with particularly cold winters and cool summers. During Christmas, the sunrise and sunset are around 9-00 am and 4-30 pm, while the longest day in summer witnesses sunrise and sunset at 4-00 am and 10-00 pm. Hence, tourists prefer summer months to visit Denmark.
